Dressing yourself in the morning is hard enough when you don’t have to stand in front of a camera. Choosing what to wear for a photoshoot can trigger anyone to pull their entire wardrobe out onto the floor in search of the perfect outfit and maybe even spiral a bit. (It's me, I am talking about me).
Some nerves are 100% normal, so don't worry. I made a ‘What to Wear’ client guide for all my clients that will hopefully ease some of those nerves and answer any questions on what the best thing to wear might be! You can find it in your client portal as well as here.

Great question! I love traveling for photos, so it’s not a question of if I’m down. I absolutely am!!
However, I do have a small travel fee that comes in to play for photoshoots outside a certain range from where I live in the California East Bay Area. I charge the standard IRS reimbursement rate for travel plus any bridge tolls, and it just gets added to your invoice based on where you decide you want your photos taken!

No, I will not send out RAW files. I am so glad to partner with you as my client to deliver photos you love, but I hope we enter that partnership because you have seen my work and feel my editing style matches your vision for photos. As a photographer, the photos I deliver to you are edited as a result of time and effort in crafting a style I feel matches my artistic form of expression. Sending out RAW files is not a completed work for both you as a client and myself as a photographer.

I deliver all photos digitally through a personalized gallery link connected to your client portal for your photo session. You will receive a link when the photos are completed and you can view and download photos through the link. Photos will be available with your personalized client link for one month to give you time to download them.

Trust me, I want to get your photos to you as soon as possible. Who doesn’t! The anticipation of waiting is SO hard haha, especially when you want to celebrate big news with friends and family and show them pictures with it (*cough cough* engagements).
The answer to how soon you’ll get them depends on the package or type of shoot you are hiring me for. Some shoots like proposals you will get several previews same day whereas other shoots like maternity and baby photos will come all together in a full gallery usually in 3-4 weeks (with the occasional early sneak peak). When you inquire absolutely ask because I totally understand that could be a really important question for you before hiring a photographer! It will also always be included in the contract ◡̈

This question is definitely dependent on the shoot. I also always list all my terms for rescheduling or canceling in the contract I provide you regarding the shoot which you have the option to ask questions about before signing for clarification.

Personally, I started my photography with nature/landscape shots on film but love capturing people as well, both film and digital.

At this time I do not offer physical prints of photos, just a digital gallery. I’m open to it in the future but currently it is not part of my business. Thanks for understanding!

I’m a Canon girl all the way… on digital! I recently switched to a mirrorless Canon R6 Mark II but for fun shoots on my own I also often use a Fujifilm XT-3. I also use a Nikon FE for film in my personal shoots and occasionally professional services!
